NOISE SCAVENGERS

“Mainstream music was thrown out the window at the Valley Mill on Saturday. Talented you musicians from Geelong’s northern suburbs showcased some of their own creations in a sonic adventure titled THE DESERT.” Ryan Reynolds, GEELONG ADVERTISER 2010.

Hailing from Corio - the town where gunshots never sleep – we give you the NOISE SCAVENGERS. Teen crime was never put to such a worthy end. Rather than scavenging for unlocked cars, these young sound artists with post-punk attitood have hitched a joy ride to Hullick’s sonically fulfilling workshops, that have arisen somewhat majestically from the arts crucible otherwise known as the Cloverdale Community Centre. Found sound, noise, electronica, field recording, and other earthly sonic delights are what the Noise Scavengers are about. The Scavengers are managed by Sue Hartigan – the Madame of fun at Cloverdale.

Noise Scavengers include

Caitlyn, Annemeika, Tanea, Courtney, Dana, Matt, Jarrod, Tom, Ben, Harley, Ed.

Managed through Sue Hartigan, Centre Manager, at Cloverdale Community Centre.
